Golden Age Costumed Parade

The costumed promenade at the 2025 Festival proved so popular that we wanted to invite you all to walk the Agatha Christie Mile with us. Don your finest 1920s attire, grab your cloche hat, your favourite pearls or your finest moustaches and enjoy a simply marvellous Sunday morning stroll!

We’ll set off from the brand-new Agatha Christie Sculpture on The Strand, wander past the famous Christie bust, and promenade along the scenic Agatha Christie Trail to Princess Pier — a flat, leisurely half-mile perfect for soaking up the seaside air.

The new Agatha Christie Mile App will also be available to download allowing a perfect blend of past and present! Be some of the first people to use this fabulous interactive addition to Torquay’s Agatha Christie experience.

Whilst you may enjoy walking off the effects of last night, the walk is entirely optional. If you cannot join us on the walk, why not meet us at the Agatha Christie statue and wave us off!
