Agatha Christie Mile App

The daytime events conclude with an introduction to the new Agatha Christie Mile app by Festival Creative Director and the driving force behind the app, Matt Newbury.

This immersive digital guide lets you explore Agatha’s early life in Torquay right from your phone or tablet. Discover rare historic photographs, enjoy video clips, and unlock exclusive digital photo frames to snap memorable selfies along the route. A perfect blend of storytelling, history, and a little Christie magic. The app has been created by Big Wave Media with the generous support of GWR.

Following the talks, take time to visit Agatha Christie’s statue on the harbourside or explore the vast array of cafes, bars and restaurants located around Torquay’s vibrant harbour. Alternatively, enjoy a rest before the evening’s exciting events!

The evening starts with a welcome drink before a two-course meal at the Livermead House hotel whilst listening to vintage vocalist Terrie-May McNulty who charmed us all at the 2025 Festival. Following the meal, there is an evening of entertainment beginning with award-winning producer and author Kelly Mullen discussing her latest murder mystery, and concluding with author Antony Johnson’s brilliant and interactive game, Can you Solve the Murder?
