Walking in Agatha Christie’s footsteps

8th – 17th September 2023, 10am and 2.30pm

This award-winning walking tour tells the story of Agatha’s extraordinary life. Guests will be enthralled to listen to her years growing up in Torquay, how she met her first husband and her work as a nurse during World War 1. The tour will explain how she was challenged to become an author and how she drew her inspiration from her time in Torquay and later in the Middle East to create her legendary characters and plots. We will discuss her enormous contribution to entertain the Home Front during World War 2. And of course, no tour would be complete without touching on Agatha’s disappearance in 1926.
