Statement From Agatha Christie Festival Ltd On The Passing Of Her Majesty The Queen
The Trustees and staff of Agatha Christie Festival Limited are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
As a mark of respect, the launch reception for this year’s Festival, planned for the evening of Friday, 9th September 2022 at Torre Abbey, Torquay, will be cancelled.
The Festival itself, a literary and cultural programme of talks and performances in Torquay and across the English Riviera, opening 10 September and closing 17 September 2022, will go ahead as planned.
