Step Into the Shadows

An Evening of Mystery at Ugbrooke House

Step back in time to September 1935 & be our dinner guest here at Ugbrooke House. The jazz is playing, the wine is flowing, and the elegant estate of Lord Clifford is alive with laughter. But behind the grandeur of it all, a chilling secret lies frozen.

You are cordially invited to “Incident in the Icehouse,” an immersive, interactive murder mystery dinner party where you become the detective.

Due to the huge success of our sell out, Murder on the Dancefloor murder mystery, this exclusive event returns & will be hosted at the spectacular Ugbrooke House in Chudleigh. For this evening, the grand manor transforms into the fictional Caldicot House, allowing you to wander through breathtaking grounds originally designed by Capability Brown.

By joining us, you will be walking the very floorboards of literary history. Ugbrooke House is famously the exact location where a young Agatha Miller first met Archibald Christie at a grand ball on October 12, 1912 – sparking a romance that would ultimately give the world the greatest crime writer of all time, Agatha Christie. There is no more fitting backdrop in England to solve a murder.
