Aspects of Agatha

Last year we enjoyed a morning of three talks at the ancient church of St Mary the Virgin, Churston Ferrers, where Agatha worshipped while staying at her holiday home at Greenway. Organized by the Devonshire Association, by popular request we are repeating this special morning in 2026.

Dr Sue Andrew will relate the tale of a beautiful stained-glass window donated to the church by Agatha -- a tale full of twists and turns and a few surprises.

Sandy Howard, a volunteer at Greenway, gives a talk 'Glimpses of Greenway' in which she shares insights into why Agatha found her home on the Dart so magical and 'the loveliest place in the world'.

Nigel Wollen will delight us with the story of his family's long professional and personal connection with Agatha and her family -- a story full of warmth and wit and not a little bite!

Refreshments will be provided to help us celebrate Agatha's birthday.

Free: booking is required. When booking there will be the opportunity of making a donation to Churston Ferrers Church. Suggested donation £5.
