Agatha Christie Walking Tours

Even if you've never read an Agatha Christie novel, watched a film, or seen her plays, it doesn't matter!

We have two walking tours available. The shorter, 90 minute route tells the story of Agatha growing up in Torquay - her family, home, engagement, nursing during World War 1 and her marriage to Archibald Christie.

The second tour covers her whole life - the Middle East, her disappearance, her contribution during World War 2 and includes lots of interesting 'nuggets' that guests will find intriguing.

• 12 September: Agatha Christie's Extraordinary Life (2 hours)
• 13 September: Agatha Christie's early years in Torquay (1.5 hours)
• 14 September: Agatha Christie's Extraordinary Life (2 hours)
• 15 September: Agatha Christie's early years in Torquay (1.5 hours)
• 16 September: Agatha Christie's Extraordinary Life (2 hours)
• 17 September: Agatha Christie's early years in Torquay (1.5 hours)

Information

• We meet outside The English Riviera Visitor Information Office on Vaughan Parade, Torquay TQ2 5JG.
• Graham, your tour guide, will be wearing in a yellow florescent jacket, so please wander over to him and say ‘hello’.
• Both walking routes are flat.
• The tours start at 10am everyday with stops en route for refreshments and comfort breaks.

There is a maximum of 6 people on the 2 hour tour and a maximum of 12 people on the 1.5 hour tour:

• 2 Hour Walks: £25.00 per person, £40.00 per couple, £15.00 for under 18's, Children under 5 go free
• 1.5 Hour Walks: £15 per person, £25 for a couple, £10 for under 18’s, Children under 5 go free
