Murder on the Riviera Express

Amateur sleuths are invited to join us for a unique murder mystery experience aboard the very train that Poirot rode in both the ABC Murders and Dead Man’s Folly.

Following a drinks reception on the station at Paignton, the Dartmouth Steam Railway will chug along a remarkably picturesque route past Goodrington Sands with its colourful beach huts, up over two of Brunel’s loft viaducts above Broadsands and then through Churston Station before running alongside the River Dart. This is the very route that Agatha Christie would have taken when visiting Greenway for the holidays.

However, it’s not all sightseeing, as there will also be a murder to solve, courtesy of Moonstone Theatre Company. So have your little grey cells at the ready and feel free to dress up for the occasion.

We are able to offer the Murder on the Riviera Express for the same price as a regular return journey on this fantastic heritage railway line and are really excited to be able to offer this exclusive experience for a select number of fans, so do book early so you don’t miss out.
