Agatha Christie Festival Write Now 2024

Scratch Performance

An informal, scratch performance event. Join us free of charge in the welcoming atmosphere of Paignton’s Children’s Library to support and celebrate talented local young people taking part in Agatha Christie Festival Write Now 2024 as they showcase, share and try out new creative writing and performance.

Agatha Christie Festival Write Now 2024 is working with young writers to develop their own creative work, inspired by Dartmoor and the West Country’s multi-award-winning playwright and screenwriter, Bea Roberts. Meet Bea herself who will talk about her practice and inspirations, and experience young people’s new writing and work in progress in a relaxed, supportive space.

Agatha Christie Festival Write Now 2024 is a project in partnership with Daisi and MED Theatre, with support of The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust.

Event run time – approx. 90 minutes
