Christie for Kids Day 2025

In partnership with Libraries Unlimited, Agatha Christie Festival introduced for the first time a Christie for Kids Day at Paignton Library on 13 September 2025, part of the Festival’s commitment to promoting literacy and a love of reading among children and young people in Torbay.

We were delighted to welcome Abie Longstaff, author of ‘The Trapdoor Mysteries’ and a new series of books ‘Before the Fairy Tale’ and Robin Stevens, author of the popular ‘Murder Most Unladylike’ series, Each author led brilliant workshops on the day, the first attended by Under 7s and the second by children 7 and up.

Our first Christie for Kids Day was fully booked and offered free of charge with the kind support of The Colwinston Charitable Trust.

We are already planning our Christie for Kids Day 2026!
