Little Miss Marple

Muddle at the Vicarage

A read-a-long family storytelling adventure

Can you solve the mystery? Drop in to the vicarage with our storyteller as she reads you a very cosy book about St Mary Mead's most brilliant detective, Little Miss Marple! This is an interactive read-along complete with live music, participation and actions – with classic characters from the much-loved Mr Men and Little Miss universe. All mini-sleuths are cordially invited – there’ll be solving, storytelling and a draw-a-long. Can you solve the puzzle?

Perfect for ages 4+

Free – but booking essential

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

As this is a free event, we kindly ask that you only reserve tickets if you are able to attend, so that as many young people as possible have the opportunity to take part. If your plans change and you can no longer make it, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can release your tickets for someone else to enjoy.

Copies of the Little Miss Marple and Mr Poirot books will also be for sale following the event.

There will also be a Little Miss Marple and Mr Poirot Treasure Hunt taking place around Torquay Harbour from Saturday 5 September until Sunday 20 September. Find all of the characters in shop windows, solve the puzzle and win an exclusive badge. Free quiz sheets can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre on the harbourside during opening hours. Any children taking part on Saturday 5 September will also be entered into a free draw to win a very special Little Miss Marple/Mr Poirot prize.
