Volunteering

Each year International Agatha Christie Festival welcomes volunteers to join our team, building on individuals’ interests and experience in cultural events. If you would like to get involved, do get in touch with us at info@iacf-uk.org

Donating

International Agatha Christie Festival is registered by the UK Charity Commission ‘to promote the public appreciation of, and to educate the public in the arts of literature, poetry, creative writing, performing arts and digital media.’ As well as its biennial festival, IACF has broadened its scope to develop a year-round programme, enabling partnerships, educational and community focused activities, including across health, cultural tourism and heritage, to promote and nurture creativity and artistic works in Torbay, the UK and internationally.

If you would like to support these ongoing activities you can make a donation online here. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help to develop our artistic and community programmes, bringing internationally renowned artists to Torbay and create new opportunities to inspire and support excellent artworks, whether from literature to dance, visual arts or music.

Participating

For the 2017 festival, we are putting out an Open Call for new presentations inspired by the work and legacy of Agatha Christie. This is an opportunity for us to platform new voices, research and artistic work. Our call for submissions includes a broad range of themes and presentations, across: Agatha Christie, her life and work; travel and explorations of other countries and cultures, particularly in relation to the countries visited by Agatha Christie over her life; crime and mystery; contemporary literature; innovative work by women in literature and the arts. If you are would like to find out more about our Open Call for 2017, or you have an idea, please write to info@iacf-uk.org

Through the year, ‘Come Tell Me How You Live’ will be involving people across Torbay in creative projects connecting communities, artists and writers to create new work. To find out more about our current and forthcoming programmes, click here to visit our Projects page for more information.
